In this episode of the Picturebooking Podcast I interview Carter Higgins from the Design of the Picture Book Blog. I got to know Carter by winning one of her book giveaways last year. It was so fun getting free books in the mail.
And earlier this week I won another book giveaway from another of my favorite blogs, This Picture Book Life. So with Carter on the show this week it just seems like the perfect time to start giving back. Scroll down to enter to win a Jon Scieszka signed copy of The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.

I like Chicken Licken.
Thanks Jessica! You got to love Chicken Licken!!
What your favorite character from the Stinky Cheese Man?
The Narrator was always my favorite! My son thinks the Giant’s story was the best part! I read this book over and over as a child and my son requested this book every night for almost three months!
That is so wonderful getting to share a part of your childhood with your son!
We have never read these books, but I would guess my kiddo would love a character named Chicken Licken -how could one not? She has just started reading bigger books, and books that are more imaginative are more her style 🙂
Well you don’t get more imaginative than Lane Smith and Jon Scieszka!
Chicken licken is my favorite character
Stinky cheese man has to be my favorite!
I actually really like “The Really Ugly Duckling”
I can still remember belly laughing the first time I turned the page and seen that the Ugly Duckling turned into an Ugly Duck! So great!!

My favorite is Chicken Licken.
Congratulations to Lori! She is the winner of the Jon Scieszka signed copy of The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.
