On the show today we have Jake Parker and his debut picture book LITTLE BOT & SPARROW.
Jake has worked in comics, concept art, illustration and animation. He started the popular drawing challenge Inktober and co-founded the illustration education website svslearn.com with Will Terry (Picturebooking Episode 12). Basically Jake Parker makes things! And after this talk you’re going to be inspired to make things too.

Congratulations
I want to congratulate Matthew Winner on his 300th episode. I personally enjoyed episode 301 with Liz and Jimmy Reed from Cuddles and Rage. There debut picture book titled SWEET COMPETITION looks amazing. I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Also it was fun to hear more about Liz and Jimmy themselves. Liz has a podcast called PEOPLE I THINK ARE COOL. And she has had Matthew Winner, Blake Hamilton and myself on the show at different times. So it’s great to see her doing the author-illustrator thing!
